At AztecMenu.com, we prioritize the privacy and security of our restaurant partners and their diners. This policy details how we collect, store, and process data when you use our QR menu builder software.

1. Data We Collect

We collect minimal information to ensure fast and secure menu rendering:

• Account Information: If you configure a restaurant profile, we store your restaurant name, contact email, and branding choices.
• Diner Analytics: We collect aggregate scan counts per table. We do NOT collect diner names, personal telephone numbers, or email addresses unless explicitly submitted through a contact form.
• Technical Logs: Standard browser request metadata (IP address, user-agent) is recorded in server logs to prevent malicious crawling and coordinate server load.

2. How We Use Data

We use the collected information to:

• Render the custom digital menus correctly on customer smartphones.
• Provide scan reports to restaurant managers.
• Maintain website security and prevent server overload.

3. Security

All database connections are managed securely using PDO query binding. If you host AztecMenu on cPanel, you maintain 100% ownership and control over your database files and server credentials.
